Minister’s Welcome

Welcome to Holt Methodist Church, where we seek to put God at the centre of all we do, which includes how we serve the communities in Holt and the surrounding area. We are a warm and welcoming church, that seeks to welcome in the stranger, just as Christ does. We are currently working on enhancing our church building so that it can be better to use, be more accessible for those with mobility and wheelchair needs and be a better space for the town of Holt. We are also undertaking a community audit to see what the different communities in and around Holt want and then, from this, plan what we can offer. Our desire to serve others is driving this, as we wish to be a place that can be for any and all people!

Whether you are a resident of Holt and the surrounding area or are visiting on holiday, you are most welcome here. We have our Sunday services at 11am, a monthly afternoon tea on the third Friday of each month, and a prayer group that meets on a Friday morning. We also have some adhoc events, so look at our calendar for what is on! Unfortunately, we are unable to have the church open during the day for visitors at this stage. However, we do have a sign on the outside of the building saying whether we are open or not. If you see the ‘open’ sign, do come and pay us a visit!

Holt Methodist Church is a part of the Central Norfolk Circuit, which is an area that stretches from Great Ellingham, past Swaffham, all the way up to Wells-next-the-Sea. We have connections with all the churches in this Circuit. So, whether you live here or are on holiday, we can signpost you to our other churches and what they have on – and there is a great deal happening in the Circuit!

Every blessing,

Revd Jonny Bell
